Barry Mullan is the former head of the Family Law and De Facto Relationship Group of Goldrick Farrell Mullan. He now works as a Consultant and assists with marketing.
Barry studied Law at Macquarie University and has been in practice since 1983.
His first job as a solicitor in private practice was with Sydney law firm, H. D. McLachlan Chilton & Co, where he gained experience in a wide range of litigation.
After further experience working with the NSW Department of Motor Transport, the Legal Aid Commission in Queensland and a Townsville law firm, Barry joined Goldrick Farrell Mullan as a Partner in 1990.
With over 30 years practising as a lawyer Barry has experience in a wide range of Family Law matters. He has expertise in complex parenting matters and property settlements involving high-net worth clients. His extensive experience in this area enables him to achieve significant results for his clients.
Barry is known for providing clear advice that leads to practical solutions for his clients. He is aware of the financial and emotional stress that Family Law litigation can cause and works hard to achieve early resolution of issues through negotiation and mediation.
If litigation is unavoidable, Barry is very experienced in representing clients in the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court.
Barry is regarded as one of the more senior Family Law practitioners in Sydney and has been featured in a SBS TV documentary on proceedings in the Family Court of Australia.
